Directions:
From A75 Castle Douglas bypass, take the Ayr turn off to the A713.  At the bottom of the slip road turn right and then take the first left, just before the road goes under the A75 (there is an old sign saying ‘Chapmanton Farm’ at the turning).  Go up the lane with care as it is single track and there are often farm vehicles and animals about, follow it round a 90 degree left turn, then take the next right (by the bins on the left and before the large barns).  Go up the lane to the top and the farm is on the left.  If there is no-one about in the yard, call at the large white house.
